São Paulo, Round 1

In the opening round of the 2025/26 Formula E season it was Andretti's Jake Dennis who came out on top after converting pole position into the win in the 2025 Google Cloud São Paulo E-Prix Round 1, though it was anything but a simple lights-to-flag in a hectic 30-lap race.

The Season 9 World Champion had secured Julius Baer Pole Position (following a three-place grid drop for Pascal Wehrlein) and started sharply to lead the pack away. The Brit kept in touch with the leading pack as the race lead changed hands throughout the opening stages, before making it by the Citroen of Nick Cassidy - who'd flown through the pack with a late charge - for what would be the definitive move on Lap 27.

But as the race drew to a close, there was one moment which threatened to overshadow Dennis’ charge to victory, a huge shunt for Formula E rookie Pepe Marti - who flew spectacularly over the top of Jaguar's Antonio Felix da Costa - and thankfully, ultimately, landed safely, meant a late Red Flag and a one-lap sprint to the finish. Dennis was able to hold off reigning champion Oliver Rowland and a charging Nick Cassidy to claim the first win of the season.

Mexico City, Round 2

The 2026 Hankook Mexico City E-Prix will go down in history for French manufacturing giant, Citroën, with the brand securing their first Formula E win, in only their second race in the all-electric championship - and as a nightmare for Season 2 champion, Sebastien Buemi.

Buemi and Envision started the race from pole position, with the DS PENSKE of Taylor Barnard joining him on the front row of the grid. Barnard started well and forced Buemi into defensive manoeuvres in order to keep a hold of P1. The Swiss looked to have done just that but outbraked himself into Turn 1, eventually finding himself all the way down the order in 18th.

Instead it was Nick Cassidy, the master at picking exactly the right moment to pounce and make use of Formula E's two 50kW, all-wheel drive ATTACK MODE power boosts, who was able to take control of the race.

The New Zealander brought his Citroën home first having sliced through the pack for his fourth win in five races. Just behind him, the Mahindra of Edoardo Mortara, who had put the Kiwi under severe pressure by being one of the last drivers to activate his second ATTACK MODE.

Cassidy did hold on though for more silverware after his P3 in the Sao Paulo season-opener, with Mortara's mirrors full of reigning champion Rowland through the sweeping final turn as the top five crossed the line within a second of one-another.

Miami, Round 3

Rain came to the Sunshine State for Round 3, but it didn’t stop Mitch Evans from taking Jaguar TCS Racing’s first win of the 2025/26 season.

The first half of the race proved to be super tricky for the pack, with polesitter Mueller leading away after a Safety Car start - though Andretti's rookie Felipe Drugovich made use of an instant all-wheel drive, 50kW ATTACK MODE activation to climb into P1 in the wet early on.

Mueller found himself back out front after the first round of ATTACK MODE and was able to take advantage of a mishap - as the rain fell harder - between Drugovich and Jaguar TCS Racing's Antonio Felix da Costa behind that took the pair out of race-winning contention.

Amid all that, Evans spied his chance to make progress - clambering through from the back end of the top 10 to the podium positions before a perfect switchback move on Lap 27 saw him by Mueller - the German falling for the dummy move.

From there, the Kiwi was able to manage the lead through the second round of ATTACK MODE activations to a commanding 3.1-second lead come the chequered flag for a record 15th Formula E race win.

Jeddah, Round 4

Formula E returned to Jeddah for Round 4 of the championship and the first double-header of the season. In his 100th E-Prix, Porsche's Pascal Wehrlein sealed a perfectly-executed victory, timing his PIT BOOST and ATTACK MODE just right to head home Mahindra Racing's Edoardo Mortara and Jaguar Racing driver Mitch Evans.

Wehrlein had started the race third and went later than those around him with his 50kW, all-wheel drive ATTACK MODE boost coming after his PIT BOOST stop.The overlap allowed the Season 10 World Champion to pull some eight seconds on those behind heading into the closing stages of the race.

Those who activated ATTACK MODE late seemed the best placed as the race reached its climax. Evans was next to prove as much as he sliced his way through the top 10 to an eventual third at the chequered flag and back-to-back podiums.

Jeddah, Round 5

Antonio Felix da Costa and Jaguar TCS Racing nailed their race strategy to stride to the race win in the 2026 Jeddah E-Prix Round 5, with the Portuguese leading Sebastien Buemi home and reigning champion Oliver Rowland rounding out the podium.

Da Costa was the first of the lead group to leap for both of his mandatory 50kW, all-wheel drive ATTACK MODE boosts and managed to pull a gap on those behind through the second round of activations - enough to hold fast for the win with 2.5 seconds to spare at the chequered flag. Six races in nine for Jaguar and da Costa's first for the team as well as his first since Portland, 2024.

Several drivers cycled the race lead in an energy-critical race, with Buemi one of those - the Swiss eventually winding up second, using an ATTACK MODE overlap to best Rowland who had also led early on.

Wehrlein heads the Drivers' running from Mortara by six points - 68 to 62 - with Rowland on 49. Porsche sits on 113 points to Jaguar's 86 points in the Teams' table and the Manufacturers' World Championship 143 points to 124.
