The final two rounds of Season 11 are upon us, and there’s still lots to play for. The drivers’ World Championship might have been wrapped up by Nissan’s Oliver Rowland, but there’s still two titles that will be decided over the weekend.
As Formula E returns to the ExCel in London, here are the talents that you should be keeping an eye on across the blockbuster finale.
Home win heroics
With Marvel Studios’ ‘The Fantastic Four: First Steps’ as the official title sponsor this week, there will be many drivers hoping to embrace the new partnership and pull out a superhero-worthy performance.
NEWS: Formula E unites with Marvel for Fantastic Four London E-Prix
London has treated its home drivers well in the past, with four different victors across multiple seasons. The most recent is newly-crowned champ Oliver Rowland, who won at home for Nissan last season, despite never finishing in the points at the ExCeL circuit beforehand. Can he do it again and secure one (or two) final first place finishes in his championship-winning season?
Also on the list is Jake Dennis, who has two wins in London and a further three podiums. The Andretti driver, and Season 9 World Champion, will be hoping to continue the momentum from his podium in Berlin to add to that tally this weekend.
Sam Bird is also another driver with the pride of winning at home, when he flew to victory over the first London E-Prix weekend in 2015 – also becoming the first driver in the championship’s history to win their home event.
Finally, Alex Lynn also recorded his first and only Formula E win here, when he stormed to an emotional victory for the Mahindra team in 2021.
Porsche versus Nissan battle
TAG Heuer Porsche currently leads both the Teams’ and Manufacturers' World Championships as the final two rounds are just days away.
In the teams’ battle, Porsche lead on 228 points with Nissan in their shadow with 205 points. The German manufacturer has had a mixed year, as both Antonio Felix da Costa and Pascal Wehrlein fought for their second respective drivers’ championships. Across Season 11 they’ve managed nine podiums, with a win for Wehrlein in Miami, and three Julius Baer Pole Positions.
They're up against Nissan, with Rowland having earned 184 of their 205 points. His impressive season hasn’t been mirrored by his teammate Norman Nato though, who sits 19th in the drivers’ standings.

The two teams – and their drivers – will be giving it their all to try and leave London with a championship trophy or two.
Jaguar looking to pounce on Berlin success
Fresh from their double win in Berlin, Jaguar TCS Racing will look to continue their success at their home event. Despite Nick Cassidy announcing his departure from the team after the season is wrapped, both he and Mitch Evans appear to have had a turning point in their seasons.
"The decision to leave Jaguar TCS Racing has not been an easy one, but ultimately it is the right one for me personally," says Cassidy. "I’d like to thank everyone at the team for their support since I joined at the beginning of Season 10.
"We have fought hard and had some great success together. I particularly want to thank the engineers and mechanics on the #37 side of the garage – we’ve made some amazing memories!”
Jaguar have also been on pole position over the last four races at the ExCel, but with the GEN3 Evo regulation change for this season further pole positions aren’t guaranteed. Either way, London has delivered the team some great results before they say goodbye to Cassidy and team boss James Barclay.
Final stop for NEOM McLaren
After announcing their departure from the all-electric championship earlier this season, this will be the final two races for the NEOM McLaren team. It’s been an incredible run in Formula E, with the team achieving eight podiums and a win since they took over from Mercedes ahead of GEN3.
Their drivers Sam Bird and Taylor Barnard are still to confirm their next steps, and whether they’ve found drives anywhere else on the grid but the Brits will be hoping to end the team’s time in Formula E with some silverware in the final two rounds of Season 11.
Barnard has achieved five podiums this season, including two for pole, and has got a trophy for third and second but is yet to become the youngest-ever race winner in Formula E. Is this the weekend he can do it? He seems confident going into the weekend and the team are debuting a special blue look in collaboration between Oxagon, NEOM’s reimagined industrial city.
