The 2024/25 ABB FIA Formula E World Championship couldn't have gotten off to a more exciting start in São Paulo with the GEN3 Evo on-debut, and Mexico City was another classic as three heroic overtakes inside a minute sealed the win last time out in Mexico City for Nissan's Oliver Rowland.

PREVIEW: Everything you need to know about the Marvel Fantastic Four London E-Prix Rounds 15 & 16

We headed to Saudi Arabia and a new location in the Jeddah Corniche Circuit for a double-header under the lights next, with Rowland following up second place on Saturday with a win on Sunday to extend his lead at the top of the standings. NEOM McLaren's Taylor Barnard became Formula E's youngest ever podium winner and now sits second in the table.

Miami was next after 10 years away, at Homestead-Miami Speedway on 12 April. A hectic race yielded a win for reigning champion Wehrlein and a surprise maiden podium for the new Lola ABT Yamaha squad via Lucas di Grassi.

Monaco came next for a maiden double-header in the Principality. Oliver Rowland extended his standings lead with the race win on Saturday while veteran champion Sebastien Buemi broke his winless streak with an emotional return to the top step on Sunday amid tricky wet conditions.

Tokyo saw a home win for Nissan and Oliver Rowland in front of the passionate Japanese support, with a masterclass from Stoffel Vandoorne and Maserati MSG Racing exploiting PIT BOOST to perfection.

Shanghai brought a win for Maximilian Guenther as he led home a DS PENSKE one-two, and a streak-breaking return to the top step for Nick Cassidy.

In Jakarta, we saw a maiden win in dramatic fashion for CUPRA KIRO's Dan Ticktum.

Berlin was the host to a stunning title win for Oli Rowland (Nissan). A zero score on Saturday while closest rival, then-reigning champion Pascal Wehrlein (Porsche) finished second saw a reversal on the Sunday, with the German collapsing to a non-score while the Brit did what he needed to to seal the Drivers' crown.
