Following his appearance at the Formula E Berlin Rookie Test last season, Nikita Bedrin will have a second opportunity to get behind-the-wheel of the GEN3 Evo with DS PENSKE. At the upcoming Miami E-Prix Rookie Free Practice session, the the 20-year-old Russian driver will join a field of Formula E rookies for the 40 minute session, designed to give highly talented drivers from other racing disciplines the chance to gain experience in the all-electric championship.

Bedrin is a multiple race winner in international karting competitions, he made headlines by dominating the 2020 WSK Super Master Series (OK), where he won heats, qualifying sessions, prefinals, and finals over the final two rounds.
More recently, he captured his first FIA Formula 3 Sprint Race victory in 2024, confirming his potential at the highest levels of junior single-seater racing. For 2026, Bedrin has made the move to GB3 to mount a title challenge with VRD RACING.

After an action-packed start to Season 12, you haven't got long to wait until ABB Formula E returns to your screen, and this time, we're returning to The Magic City: Miami. We'll be visiting the Hard Rock Stadium for a trip around the Miami International Autodrome. US teams Andretti, CUPRA KIRO and DS PENSKE will be looking to put on a show for their home fans on Saturday 31 January 2026.
