Designed to bring the world’s fastest accelerating and most progressive racing championship to Gen Z and Gen Alpha fans, Electric Lap gives young players a new dynamic way to customise, race and express themselves across a next-generation virtual motorsport world.
Blending Formula E’s strategic, energy-based racing with the creativity and social gameplay of Roblox, Electric Lap introduces players to a universe where speed, sustainability and self-expression collide. The experience transforms core elements of Formula E - including ATTACK MODE, energy management and regeneration, pit strategy, tactical decision-making and multiplayer street racing - into interactive, city-inspired gameplay. A first for electric racing on Roblox, players can explore and compete in a wide variety of environments inspired by real Formula E circuits, global cities and imaginative fantasy tracks. Features include:
- Four generations of Formula E cars (GEN1–4 from inception of the Championship to present day)
- Official racing teams past and present, including Porsche, Jaguar, Nissan and others
- Real-world and stylised circuits, from Miami and Tokyo to London
- Deep customisation, with unlockable liveries, avatar items and UGC gear transferable across Roblox
- Street-style multiplayer racing with strategic energy management at its heart
The experience will continue to evolve through Season 2025/26 and beyond, with new tracks, content drops, live events aligned to real Formula E race weekends, and feature updates rolling out across 2026.
Formula E: Electric Lap has been developed and brought to life by Feenix, the gaming and entertainment studio behind an expanding portfolio of branded experiences on Roblox.
