Janina Schall takes seat at Porsche for Women's Test

The 19-year-old German started karting in 2013, and has multiple runner-up finishes to her name across a number of campaigns. In 2024, she drove at the FIA Motorsport Games in the Kart Endurance category, finishing in 10th position.

Schall made her touring car debut in 2023 in the Rennsport Club Nürburgring, driving a Porsche Cayman V5. She continued racing in the V5 class through 2024 with four additional showings with the Girls Only team - securing second place at NLS 3 and winning at NLS 6. Schall raced for the Girls Only by WS Racing team for the first round of the 2025 NLS season.

Her best finish in sportscars to-date was a win at the fabled Nürburgring in 2024, and the German added another podium to her 2025 efforts in the category there this past summer.

Testing dates and Women's Test confirmed

This past week, Formula E confirmed all the details for the pre-season schedule in Valencia, including a return of the groundbreaking Women's Test on 31 October, with double the track time for the world's best women racers.

All of the teams on the grid will shake down their Season 12 machinery for the first time over 27-30 October at Circuit Ricardo Tormo with the only opportunity to get on-track collectively before the 2025/26 campaign kicks off with Round 1 from São Paulo on 6 December.
