How and when to watch the 2023 Hankook Rome E-Prix

With track action kicking off from Friday 14 July and running into the weekend on Saturday 15 July and Sunday 16 July, here are all the start times for the double-header in the Italian capital.

Season 9 heads to Rome as the gladiatorial fight for the 2022/23 title is heating up, it's close at the top and big points at this penultimate double-header of the year will be vital for any championship hopes - and here's the all-important rundown of the schedule for the 2023 Hankook Rome E-Prix, Rounds 13 and 14.

There's a small change to proceedings on as 11 Formula E newcomers take to the track first in the Rookie Free Practice, as the next generation get their all-electric racing initiation from 14:30 - 15:00 local (13:00 UTC) - you can watch live and follow the 30 minute session right here on the Formula E Race Centre.

Then it's time to hand of the reins to Season 9 grid, as they get their first sampling of the high-powered GEN3 for 30 minutes of Free Practice 1 from 17:00 local (15:00 UTC).

Saturday is race day one, as the second practice sessions kicks off the proceedings at 08:10 local (06:10 UTC) ahead of qualifying from 10:40 local (08:40 UTC). It's lights out on the first of the weekend's races with 25-laps starting at 15:00 local (13:00 UTC).

The second leg of the Roman double-header on Sunday is a mirror of the previous day with Free Practice 3 getting action started at 08:10 local (06:10 UTC), then it's on to qualifying at 10:40 local (08:40 UTC).

To mix up strategies, Sunday's race will be one lap less with 24-laps from 15:00 local (13:00 UTC).
