It's only been a short wait but the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship is back in action this Saturday 12 February, with a return to the legendary grounds of the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez, as the 22 drivers get set to perform in front of the packed Foro Sol.
The all-electric racing series illuminated Diriyah with some thrills, spills and a healthy dose of drama for the opening two rounds of Season 8. Mercedes-EQ dominated the proceedings with reigning champion Nyck de Vries repeating his season-opening success leading teammate Stoffel Vandoorne for ominously commanding one-two finish.
The next day looked to be going in their favour again, but it was another pair of Mercedes-powered drivers putting on a show as ROKiT Venturi Racing's Edoardo Mortara and Lucas di Grassi took first and third, with Robin Frijns and Envision Racing sandwiched been the all-black Venturi pair.
