Who will be the masters of Marrakesh?
Jean-Eric Vergne's consistency is unmatched this season, the two-time champion has scored points in every single race and stood on the podium five times in the last nine rounds. But with a winless drought that now extends to 20 races, the only thing missing from the Frenchman's points tally in 2022 is 25 big ones from first.
JEV finished a brilliant third last time at Marrakesh in 2020. After missing Free Practice 1 due to illness he toughed it out to secure a rostrum finish after starting from 11th on the grid.
It was his teammate António Félix da Costa who took the top prize that year, taking his first win with DS TECHEETAH, the Portuguese driver was in dominant form leading every lap from pole.
Sam Bird is arguably the most successful driver in Marrakesh with three podium finishes and one Julius Baer Pole Position in four races here. The Brit has yet to pounce on the podium this season with Jaguar TCS Racing, his best finish being fourth in the opening round - all that glory has gone to his teammate Mitch Evans.

Evans is having his best season to date in Formula E. His victory last time out in Jakarta was superb, a win that Jaguar Team Principal James Barclay declared was all down his driver's 'calm, game-changing' performance as Evans dived for the lead, catching JEV unaware and then controlled the race to the finish line - his third win of the season, and becoming the only driver to achieve this so far.
The 2020 Marrakesh E-Prix was another masterclass for the New Zealander, despite finishing the race in sixth. A mistimed release in qualifying left him languishing down at the back of the grid for the race, but undeterred he carved his way through to finish in a points paying position. Consistency is key to this season's championship fight and much like Vergne, Stoffel Vandoorne has equalled the Frenchman on podium finishes so far but that emphatic victory around the iconic harbourfront in Monaco has ensured his place at the top of the standings for now.
The Belgian's performance for Mercedes-EQ has been a case of uniformity with Vandoorne driving what seems to be an unassuming race before making his presence known amongst the front-runners.

Last time out it was damage-limitation in a challenging weekend for Mercedes and Stoff in Jakarta, failing to finish on the podium for the first time in four races. Marrakesh is set to be another hot race, so they can take the learnings and apply them here in a chance to return to the top step.
In Formula E's four visits to the Circuit International Automobile Moulay El Hassan, Mahindra have taken the victory on two occasions - the most of any team - thanks to Felix Rosenqvist and Jerome d'Ambrosio. It's been a tough year for the Indian outfit with only three point scoring finishes and with two race winners in the stable they could be due a pick me up in Marrakesh.
Alexander Sims and Oliver Rowland have been missing from the front of the pack this season. Rowland did have a good showing in the second Berlin race putting himself right in the mix and finishing seventh, but last time out he retired in the early stages after his wheel fell off in Jakarta.

Where Mahindra have performed well has been with their one-lap pace, Sims scored a stunning front row start in Berlin and Rowland made it through to both knockout stages in Diriyah.
