Norman Nato to leave Nissan

Norman Nato and the team have confirmed he'll leave Nissan - and likely Formula E, for now - following the end of the 2025/26 campaign.

The Frenchman exits the team after a two-season spell with the Japanese manufacturer. "I'd like to say a big thank you to everyone at Nissan Formula E Team," he said.

"I've had three great years with the team and we've shared lots of good moments together. Thank you to all the engineers, mechanics and everyone behind the scenes for all the hard work and support. While I now move on to focus on another chapter in my career, I've really enjoyed my time in Formula E, both on the track and around the paddock, and I'm happy to have been part of this championship.

"It's goodbye for now, but I hope to see everyone again soon. I've had three great years with the team and we've shared lots of good moments together. Thank you to all the engineers, mechanics and everyone behind the scenes for all the hard work and support.

Nato made his Formula E debut in 2021 with ROKiT Venturi Racing, capping his rookie campaign with a victory in Berlin. Following a reserve role with Jaguar and strong WEC outings, he secured full-time seats with Nissan (Season 9) and Andretti (Season 10), claiming podiums in Rome and Shanghai. Back with Nissan in Season 11, Nato demonstrated front-running pace by taking pole position in Miami.

The 34-year-old scored 20 points in 2025/26 and finished 19th in the Drivers' table.
