Laofengxiang returns as official trophy provider for Formula E's China races

Formula E and Laofengxiang marked the renewal and expansion of their 2024/25 Season partnership, with China's iconic jewellery house returning as the Official Trophy Provider for the Championship's two races in China during 2025/26 Season

Building on a successful collaboration in 2025, Laofengxiang once again designed and handcrafted the trophies presented to the Winning Driver, Second Place, Third Place and Winning Team, this time across both the 2026 Lianxin Sanya E-Prix and the 2026 Shanghai E-Prix.

The renewed partnership represents an evolution in the relationship between the two organisations. For the first time, the Shanghai trophies have been designed as complementary pieces that can be combined into a single display to further entice the coveted double-header victory across the race weekend. Meanwhile Sanya’s trophy, crafted in the shape of a pen nib, encouraged drivers to use their creativity and write their own story on the track.

As part of the expanded partnership, Laofengxiang also provided exclusive commemorative gifts to all EMOTION CLUB hospitality guests attending both the Sanya and Shanghai E-Prix events, further enhancing the premium fan experience.

“Our partnership with Formula E represents a meeting of heritage and innovation. For more than 178 years, Laofengxiang has celebrated exceptional craftsmanship and Chinese culture, and we are proud to once again honour the world's leading electric racing drivers with trophies that embody those values. Expanding our collaboration across both Sanya and Shanghai demonstrates our shared commitment to excellence and allows us to showcase Chinese design on one of the world's most prestigious sporting stages.” – LFX Chairman

Alberto Longo, Co-Founder and Chief Championship Officer, said: “We're delighted to welcome Laofengxiang back as our Official Trophy Provider for our races in China. This partnership perfectly illustrates Formula E's approach to building authentic local collaborations that celebrate the culture and creativity of our host markets. By combining one of China's most iconic luxury brands with the pinnacle of electric motorsport, we're creating memorable experiences for fans while recognising the incredible craftsmanship behind every victory on track.”.

Adding to the significance of the collaboration, Laofengxiang created a solid gold replica of the GEN4 car to accompany the Asia unveiling of the GEN4 at the start of the Shanghai Summer event on Friday 26th June.

Created exclusively by Laofengxiang to commemorate the arrival of the fastest, most advanced and most efficient Formula E race car ever built, the bespoke gold GEN4 model symbolises the meeting of world-leading innovation and centuries-old Chinese craftsmanship.

The continued partnership highlights Formula E's commitment to celebrating local culture and craftsmanship in its host markets while creating distinctive experiences that connect global motorsport with regional audiences. By bringing together cutting-edge electric racing and one of China's most celebrated heritage brands, the collaboration offers a unique platform to engage fans through innovation, design and tradition.
