The Brit joined the Envision Racing squad in 2025 as their Simulator Driver, and has been playing a crucial role behind-the-scenes, supporting drivers Sébastien Buemi and Joel Eriksson. This year, O'Sullivan is set to compete in Super Formula, his second season in the championship.
O'Sullivan is joined at Envision for the test by (previously announced) fellow Brit, Ella Lloyd.

Zak O’Sullivan, Envision Racing Simulator Driver, said: “After a successful FP0 session in Miami, I’m excited to get a full day in the car in Madrid. It’s been a good start to the season for the team, so I’ll be working hard to assist where I can with data and feedback.”
Sylvain Filippi, Managing Director & CTO of Envision Racing said: “Zak is a great asset to our team, and this test gives him another opportunity to learn more about the car to help the engineers and drivers going forward for the rest of the season.
