In the upcoming Madrid Rookie Test, Nissan simulator driver, Abbi Pulling, will get her fifth outing in the GEN3 Evo. Pulling was the quickest driver in the inaugural Women’s Test, held in Madrid, and continued to look rapid over the course of the Valencia test held ahead of the start of this season. She was the first driver to break into the 1m22s all day, and looked very much at home behind the wheel of the GEN3 Evo.

Pulling, who won the F1 Academy title in 2024, is set to compete in the GB3 championship this season with Rodin Motorsport. Joining her in the Nissan garage for the upcoming test will be Williams F1 Team test and development driver, Victor Martins.

Martins has previously driven Formula E machinery in the 2023 Berlin Rookie Test and the Valencia pre-season test that occurred ahead of Season 10. The 24-year-old impressed many during his junior career, winning the Formula Renault Eurocup title in 2020, before moving up to F3, where he took the 2022 crown. In 2026, he will take part in the FIA World Endurance Championship with Alpine's Endurance Team.

Tommaso Volpe, Managing Director and Team Principal of Nissan Formula E Team, said: “The upcoming Rookie Test in Madrid will be a great opportunity to keep developing the GEN3 Evo technology since Valencia in pre-season, and we are delighted to have Abbi and Victor with us for the day. Abbi is developing strongly, she’s completed plenty of mileage in the car and her impact in preparation for each race event is constantly growing. She is getting more and more comfortable and improving as a Formula E driver, which is a big positive for both her and the team.

"We’re also very happy to have Victor back with us after the Berlin test in 2023. He’s an incredibly talented driver and part of our family, as an official Alpine driver in the World Endurance Championship, so we are excited to benefit from his skills and experience while we continue building our relationship.”

Abbi Pulling, Rookie and Simulator Driver for Nissan Formula E Team, said: “I’m pleased to be teaming up with Nissan Formula E Team again in Jarama. I’m feeling comfortable in the car following my recent outings and the simulator work, so my target is to keep improving. I was able to get up to speed quickly in Miami and Jarama is a track I’ve visited before with Nissan Formula E Team, so it will be interesting to compare myself to the benchmark set there last time. I can’t wait to be back on track with the squad.”

Victor Martins, said: “I’m really excited to be back with Nissan Formula E Team. I know a lot of the crew, so it will be great to return to familiar surroundings for a productive day of testing. I haven’t driven the GEN3 Evo car before so I’m looking forward to experiencing the all-wheel drive and learning as much as I can.

"It’s been a while since I drove a Formula E car, but I’ll still look to build on my previous time with the team in Berlin. We’ve been preparing well for the test and I’m sure that we will complete our program together on the day. I’m very grateful for this opportunity and a big thank you to Nissan Formula E Team for believing in me.”
