Simona de Silvestro
The longest-serving Formula E driver in this list is Simona de Silvestro who raced with Andretti for two seasons. Swiss-Italian de Silvestro got the call up to Andretti Autosport at the end of Season 1 to race alongside Jean-Eric Vergne, where she finished both races just outside of the points on debut. She was retained for the next year of the all-electric championship, where she achieved championship points in both Long Beach and Berlin - the first and only woman to score points in Formula E to date.
Simona returned to Formula E as a Test Driver for the Venturi Formula E team in Season 5 before becoming a Porsche Works Driver in 2019, where she also took on the responsibility of being the Formula E team’s Test and Development Driver.
Since 2022, she has taken on international notoriety as a bobsledder, competing in the 2026 Winter Olympics and finishing 23rd in the final.
Katherine Legge
British racing driver, Katherine Legge, raced in Formula E’s first ever race, the 2014 Beijing E-Prix. Legge lined up on the historic grid with Amlin Aguri in 16th and completed two races with the team alongside Takuma Sato and Antonio Felix da Costa.
Since then, Katherine has raced in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, the FIA World Endurance Championship and has taken part in four iterations of the Indy500, holding the record for the fastest qualifying effort for a woman in Indianapolis 500 history.
She made a return to the Formula E paddock when she represented Mahindra Racing at the Diriyah test in 2018 and also competed in the Jaguar I-Pace eTrophy.
Susie Wolff
Susie Wolff has a respected reputation as one of the most vocal advocates for women in motorsport, having forged her own parth from racing driver to F1 Academy managing director.
Wolff made her way into single-seaters in 2001 with Formula Renault. Within just four years, she made the jump to the British Formula 3 Championship before getting her break into the German Touring Car (DTM) championship in 2006.
After retiring from a successful career in racing, Wolff was appointed Team Principal of ROKiT Venturi Racing in her first move into team management. In 2021, she was promoted to the role of CEO. In 2022, following Venturi’s most successful season and a Vice-World Championship title, Susie announced her departure from the team and Formula E to pursue the managing director position at F1 Academy.
Nicki Shields
Having been an essential part of the Formula E broadcast team for over a decade, Nicki Shields brings expert analysis and a scientific background to her role as lead presenter.
Nicki - like many - became obsessed with racing thanks to her father, who took her to race tracks and karting days. After the realisation as an early teenager that becoming a Formula 1 racing driver might be a near impossible task with her lack of experience, Nicki focused on a degree in Biological Sciences. Upon graduating, Nicki began her broadcast career, a path which led her to the Formula E paddock.
Jamie Chadwick
Three-time W Series champion Jamie Chadwick has had the opportunity to drive a Formula E car on multiple occasions, most recently during the 2025 Women’s Test. During her Formula E debut with NIO, she finished the Diriyah Test in 14th after missing much of the morning's session due to technical issues on her GEN2 car. She later got an opportunity to return but this time with Jaguar TCS Racing as part of the Marrakesh Rookie Test in Season 6, alongside former Nissan driver Sacha Fenestraz.
Jamie also delved into the world of Extreme E alongside her responsibilities as a development driver at Williams F1, and competed in the INDY NXT series.
Alice Powell
Another amazing talent in Formula E is Alice Powell, who joined Envision Racing as the team’s official simulator and development driver in Season 7.
Since then, the five-time W Series race winner has become a key part of the Silverstone-based squad. Powell also took part in the 2020 Marrakesh rookie test for Envision Racing and got behind the wheel again for the team at Valencia pre-season testing.
During the second season of the Jaguar I-PACE eTROPHY, Alice finished fourth in the drivers’ title with two podium finishes to her name.
Abbi Pulling
The 22-year-old driver impressed the Formula E paddock in 2024 after topping the timesheets in the first-ever Women's Test. Since then, she has continued to receive praise for her ability and maturity behind the wheel of the GEN3 Evo.
In 2025, Pulling signed a multi-year deal with the Nissan Formula E Team, to represent the outfit as a rookie and simulator driver. Pulling became an important member of the team both on and off-track, taking part in Rookie Tests, simulator work and event preparation, as well as in the initial set-up of the squad’s new state-of-the-art, bespoke Dynisma simulator ahead of Season 12.
Considered as one of the most promising young drivers in motorsport, Pulling has a strong racing CV. In addition to her superb title-winning 2024 F1 Academy season, she also became the first female driver to take a race victory in British F4.
Bianca Bustamante
After impressing on the Asian karting scene, Bustamante, who hails from the Philippines, stepped up to professional competition in 2022 and made an immediate mark in junior single-seaters.
She raced in W Series before joining F1 Academy where, from 2023 to 2024, she represented PREMA Racing and ART Grand Prix. After securing two victories and a total of five podiums in a highly competitive field, Bianca stepped up to the hotly contested GB3 Championship for 2025.
Bianca got her first experience of Formula E machinery in the 2024 Women’s Test, representing NEOM McLaren and setting the third-fastest time of the day. In 2025, she joined CUPRA KIRO as their official development driver.
Nerea Marti
Before becoming Team Ambassador for the Andretti Formula E Team at the start of the 2025/26 season, Spanish racing driver, Nerea Marti, represented the historic racing brand at both the 2024 and 2025 pre-season Women’s Test.
In her new position with the team, Nerea has been responsible for connecting with fans and partners in key global markets, while also supporting the team’s race preparation through simulator work across the season.
A race winner in F1 Academy and the Supercars Endurance Championship - GT4 Pro - Nerea currently competes in the E1 Series.
