For the first time in 2026, The ABB FIA Formula E World Championship gets underway on Saturday 10 January at a motorsport favourite, Mexico City.
PREVIEW: Formula E returns to Mexico City for Round 2 of Season 12
Last time out in Mexico City, Nissan's Oliver Rowland produced late overtaking heroics to break a Porsche stranglehold in the 2025 Hankook Mexico City E-Prix Round 2; the Yorkshireman heading home Antonio Felix da Costa and Pascal Wehrlein.
All that saw da Costa leave atop the Drivers' standings ahead of Rowland, 37 points to 25 while Porsche led the Teams' table by nearly 30 points.
