Antonio Felix da Costa (Andretti Formula E) sealed his place in the Visa Vegas eRace with victory in the qualification race, ahead of Jose Maria Lopez (DS Virgin Racing) and team-mate Robin Frijns (Andretti Formula E).

The Buenos Aires ePrix race winner reeled in Lopez after the Argentinean led off the line, putting a move up the inside of Lopez at Turn 5.

The 2014/15 Formula E champion Nelson Piquet Jr. crossed the line in fourth, with Sam Bird (DS Virgin Racing) and Mitch Evans (Panasonic Jaguar Racing) following close behind.

Reigning champion Sebastien Buemi (Renault e.dams) took the chequered flag in seventh in front of his rival Lucas di Grassi (ABT Schaeffler Audi Sport), with Daniel Abt (ABT Schaeffler Audi Sport) clinching the final spot in the Visa Vegas eRace in ninth.

Jerome D’Ambrosio (Faraday Future Dragon Racing) didn’t line-up on the grid due to a technical issue.
