Faraday Future to showcase FFZERO1 Concept Car in Long Beach

Faraday Future named as title sponsor for Long Beach ePrix

Faraday Future and the FIA Formula E Championship today announced Faraday Future (FF) as the title sponsor for the 2016 Long Beach ePrix, the sixth stop on the 2015/2016 calendar.

The Faraday Future Long Beach ePrix will showcase the FFZERO1 Concept Car. This is the first time the car has been shown since the Consumer Electronic Show in Las Vegas. FFZERO1 is a car of concepts that amplifies FF’s engineering and design vision. The car will be on display within the eVillage fan zone for all attendees to enjoy.

“Part of the DNA that makes up FF is intuitive connectivity and assertive performance,” said Nick Sampson SVP of R&D and Engineering at Faraday Future. “These principles hold true in the fibers of Formula E. Their vision for the future of racing goes beyond the car, highlights technology milestones in the electric vehicle market and engages the fan base with manufacturers in a revolutionary way.”

“I am delighted that Faraday Future has put its name to the 2016 Long Beach ePrix,” said Sam Piccione, the Chief Revenue Officer of Formula E. “Faraday Future is a company that is revolutionizing the way in which electric cars are designed through technology disciplines in much the same way that Formula E is changing motorsport. The US is a very important market for Formula E, so it is fantastic that we are able to bring on board such an inspiring partner as Faraday Future for what I’m sure will be another thrilling event in the US.”

FF is located minutes from the Long Beach Marina Circuit. Supporting the only US stop on the 2015/2016 Formula E race calendar makes this a true “home field” race event and provides the perfect venue to connect with EV performance enthusiasts.
