Mahindra Racing debuts Gen3 at Goodwood Festival of Speed

Following a successful first test of its new Gen3 Formula E car, Mahindra Racing took its M9Electro up the famed hillclimb at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.

The team debuted the Gen2 Formula E car at the Festival of Speed back in 2017, breaking a record along the way.

After a successful first test day earlier in the week, the Banbury-based Indian team made the first public running of the brand new Gen3 at the event with Nick Heidfeld behind the wheel.

“It’s a proud moment for us to take this car to Goodwood just a week after its first test," said Dilbagh Gill, Team Principal and CEO of the team. "This is testament to the hard work, determination and passion of the team to always push to achieve what others see as unachievable. Within a week of assembly we had the car running in front of the fans and we really enjoyed it."
