Panasonic Jaguar Racing's Mitch Evans goes fastest in the first Practice session of the 2019 BMW i Berlin E-Prix presented by CBMM Niobium after setting a new course record of 1:08.162s, topping former record holder Jean-Eric Vergne's time of 1:09.438, set last season.
Behind Evans was Venturi's Edoardo Mortara followed by HWA Racelabs Stoffel Vandoorne. With 19 cars all running within a second of the leader, expect another close fought battle around the 10 turn, 2.375km circuit tomorrow. After Evans secured Jaguar's first win in the ABB FIA Formula E Championship in Rome, the team will be hoping to challenge the home-grown marques, such as BMW, Audi and HWA here in Berlin.
