Panasonic Jaguar Racing's Mitch Evans is likely to start the 2019 Monaco E-Prix in 12th following a ten place grid penalty.
After powering his Jaguar I-Type 3 up to 250kW too early during the Super Pole session, the Kiwi driver received a formal reprimand. With that making three formal reprimands this season, the Jaguar driver is hit with a 10 place grid drop in accordance with article 18.2.
After Evans claimed both his and his team's maiden victory in Rome earlier this season, the penalty is a major blow for the Kiwi as a potential podium finish in Monaco slips away.
