UPDATE: Vandoorne's qualifying times for the DHL Valencia E-Prix Round 5 cancelled after tyre infringement

Stoffel Vandoorne's Group Qualifying and Super Pole times for the DHL Valencia E-Prix Round 5 have been cancelled as a result of a tyre infringement, promoting Antonio Felix da Costa to Julius Baer Pole Position and sending the Mercedes-EQ driver to the back of the grid.

Mercedes-EQ driver Stoffel Vandoorne's Group Qualifying and Super Pole times for the DHL Valencia E-Prix Round 5 have been cancelled as a result of a breach of Article 3.2 of the Technical Regulations, Bulletin 1 of the DHL Valencia E-Prix and Article 25.3 and 25.6 of the 2020/21 ABB FIA Formula E World Championship's Sporting Regulations.

The number of the tyre mounted on the car (03709739) did not correspond with any of those declared in the Technical Passport.

This means Antonio Felix da Costa (DS TECHEETAH) is promoted to Julius Baer Pole Position, while Vandoorne will start the race from the back of the grid.
