Newcomers to the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship, Opel GSE have unveiled their bold new look for their upcoming debut campaign. Featuring three bold colour blocks in black, silver and yellow, the livery intends to build a bridge between past iconic Opel Motorsport liveries and their new future in electric racing.

Embracing the slogan 'yellow means go', with Opel GSE Yellow and dynamic lightspeed stripes, the car will be instantly recognisable to Formula E fans when it hits the track for the first time later this year.
"With the final design of the Opel GSE 27FE, we show what Formula E looks like through Opel eyes," said Pierre-Olivier Garcia, Opel Global Brand Design Manager. "Airflow becomes linework, energy becomes colour and efficiency becomes precision. Our motorsport heritage provides the DNA, German design provides the structure – and Formula E takes it into the future."
Behind-the-wheel of this eye-catching bodywork will be longtime Formula E driver Mitch Evans, who makes the move from Jaguar TCS Racing after a decade with the team, alongside Formula E rookie (and former FIA Formula 2 champion) Théo Pourchaire.
"I think the final design looks fantastic. It builds on our concept and testing livery in a more refined way, while still feeling unmistakably Opel. The additional silver gives it a sharp and sophisticated appearance – and, most importantly, it looks fast," said Mitch Evans.
