With the scorcher in Santiago wrapped up, here's the very best of social media from the weekend that saw Envision Virgin Racing's take the chequered flag and only 13 drivers finish in the hottest race in Formula E history.

Rita Ora gets taken for a ride

Spotted in the sweltering heat of Santiago's Parque O'Higgins was British singer and songwriter Rita Ora. Keen to get up to speed on the details of the track, she hopped in beside Formula E Founder and CEO Alejandro Agag for a hot lap in the BMW i8 Safety Car.

Everyone loves fan mail, right? Especially when it's a bespoke art work of DS Techeetah taking on the streets of downtown Santiago. Think you can do better? Prove it.

Strike a pose

From third in Marrakesh to first in Santiago and leading the championship standings. Envision Virgin Racing's Sam Bird had reason to celebrate after the race, choosing to mimic PSG player, Kylian Mbappe as he climbed onto the front of his car.

Round 2 of Massa vs Rowland

After trading verbal blows in Marrakesh, Nissan e.dams' rookie Oliver Rowland and Venturi's Felipe Massa came together on track, trading bodywork this time in Santiago. "We had quite a few scraps, which was fun. I don't know if he's mad at me and I don't really care. He was winging a bit in the driver's briefing in Marrakesh - it's one of those things. You race hard and you take it on the chin. Maybe next time I'll come off worse," said Rowland after the race.
