Mahindra's BE 6 SPORTEQ is an all-new series that marks the next evolution of its acclaimed electric origin SUV. Bringing together the character and technology that defined the BE 6, the new series gives customers a wider range of experiences to choose from.
To mark the unveiling of the new range, Mahindra also took the wraps off two additional expressions of the SPORTEQ philosophy, the top-of-the-line Launch Edition and the performance-focused Formula E Freedom Edition.
The Formula E Freedom Edition represents the most performance-focused expression of the BE 6. Drawing on Mahindra Racing's Formula E programme, it translates the spirit of electric motorsport into a distinctive road-going package.
This exciting new release comes after Mahindra Racing enjoyed one of their most successful Formula E seasons to date, finishing third in the Teams' Championship with an impressive 252 points. This was thanks to both Edoardo Mortara and Nyck de Vries putting themselves firmly in the Drivers' Championship picture, with a series of victories and podiums - most notably victory at the 2026 Monaco E-Prix, a first win for Mahindra Racing in the GEN3 era.
The Mahindra Racing squad will continue in the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship for the GEN4 era - the championship's most exciting chapter yet.
