Bono Huis (Faraday Future Dragon Racing) ended the final practice session before qualifying for the Visa Vegas eRace at the top of the standings, clocking a 1:28.142s.
That means the Faraday Future Dragon Racing sim racer has been fastest in both practice sessions ahead of this afternoon’s race, where 20 Formula E drivers and 10 sim racers will battle it out for the biggest prize in eSports racing history - $1 million.
Huis lowered his previous best time from yesterday by three-tenths of a second, with Robin Frijns (Andretti Formula E) and Antonio Felix da Costa a further half-a-second adrift completing the top-three places.
The inaugural Visa Vegas eRace is taking place today at The Venetian Hotel as part of Sports Business Innovation at 16:00 (PST) on the 50th edition of CES.
