Join Formula E and UNICEF by donating to help children affected by coronavirus

Formula E is back in action, albeit virtually, as the all-electric street racing series joins the esports arena with the ABB Formula E Race at Home Challenge.

In two thrilling races, the Race at Home Challenge hit the digital city streets to launch a special series racing in support of UNICEF.

Race Royale

We're here to bring your fill of Formula E racing action, but there will be an added twist to the proceedings, we'll be shaking up the traditional racing format and introducing the Race Royale. At the end of each lap, the last place driver will be eliminated from the race until only 10 drivers are left standing, who will then duel it out in a final lap sprint to decide the winner.

(Two) full grids

Lead by two-time Formula E champion Jean-Eric Vergne, the Formula E race saw a full grid of 24 digitised drivers, including some top substitute drivers. To satisfy your appetite for city street racing, the Race at Home Challenge has two headline races, as joining the Formula E race is the Challenge race featuring some of the big names from the online community and some special racing guests. See the full line-up taking part in the Test Round.

Racing for a cause

Whilst we are all happy to see the return of racing action, the ABB Formula E Race at Home Challenge is here to support the fundraising partnership between the ABB FIA Formula E Championship and UNICEF. Donations from the competition will be directed by UNICEF to comprehensive emergency projects around the world, such as those contributing to the supply of personal protective equipment for healthcare workers and setting up home learning schemes for children currently out of school.
