To mark four epic years of the Gen1 car at the epicentre of the ABB FIA Formula E Championship, we took the brand new Gen2 car for a trip down memory lane (err, make that 'tunnel' in this case) to celebrate some of the defining moments.
The world's first all-electric international single-seaters have seen more than their fair share of wheel-to-wheel combat over the past four seasons and have carried four different drivers to their championship titles. But now, is the time to move on to a new car - the Gen2 - as its arrival ushers in a new season of Formula E, with new teams, new drivers and new city street circuits. With more power and almost double the energy storage capacity of the Gen1, we'll be waving goodbye to car swaps in season five.
