2021 Monaco E-Prix

08 May 2021

The ABB FIA Formula E World Championship is once again set for the iconic, glamourous principality on the French Riviera, and the fourth Monaco E-Prix. Motorsport legend Nelson Piquet famously described racing around the streets of Monte Carlo as 'like riding a bicycle around your living room' and for the first time in the series' history the 24 all-electric stars will take on the full circuit. Who'll conquer motorsport's jewel in the crown?

Last time out

Marvellous monaco

Last time out around the principality's legendary streets in Season 5, Jean-Eric Vergne (DS TECHEETAH) broke the streak of the 'Electric Mr Monaco' Sebastien Buemi, after the Nissan e.dams racer had previously taken to the top step in each of Formula E's opening two visits to Monte Carlo. Will the pair be favourites this time around? One thing's for sure, victory in Monaco is something every racing driver dreams of, and all 24 will be fighting tooth-and-nail for the winners' Moet & Chandon in May.

La Rascasse, Casino Square and Grand Hotel Hairpin - there are few corners that evoke motorsport legend then the winding streets that line the Monaco circuit. For the 2021/21 season all-electric street racing will tackle the full 3.3km track for the first time in the series' history.

The 24 world-class drivers will now race up the hill by Mirabeau and the famous Casino Square, round the Grand Hotel Hairpin and through the inimitable Monaco tunnel ahead of the harbourfront chicane.

Lap record
