12.  Further Race Round, Race Format and Point Scoring Details:

b.    Any Competitor that has been awarded a Direct Qualification Slot for a Round but is unable to take part due to technical or other reasons or constraints will be disqualified from the race as per clause 12a. above. If the Competitor is disqualified more than 12 hours in advance of the Round, the Promoter will offer an additional Online Qualification Slot for that Round to the Participant who achieves the next fastest lap in the Qualifying Round.

c.     Competitors must log into on Discord (the communications platform used for briefing) 1 hour before the start of the broadcast in order to receive their briefing. All details about how to log in will be provided in advance. Any Competitor that does not log in within this time frame will be disqualified from that Race and will not be awarded any points.

d.    There will be 1-lap qualifying session (“Qualifying Session”) for all 24 racers to determine their starting position for each Race.

e.     Competitors will qualify in 4 groups in each Race, each group will contain 6 drivers and Competitors will run their qualifying lap one group at a time.

f.      Groups will be decided at the discretion of the Race Director.

g.    Each competitor’s qualifying time during this Qualifying Session will determine the grid order for the Race – The Competitor that sets the fastest lap in this Qualifying Session will start on Pole Position, the second fastest lap set will be in second position, and so on.

h.     In the instance of a tie-breaker in the Qualifying Session, the driver who set the fastest time first will qualify higher on the grid.

i.       The number of laps in each Race will be decided by the Race Director and communicated to the competitors during the briefing for each race

j.       During the Race, after every lap (excluding the first), the last Competitor to cross the start/finish line will be eliminated until 12 cars remain on track (“Elimination Lap”)

k.     The Competitor that crosses the Start/Finish line in last place during an Elimination Lap must:

                                               i.     Brake to a stop and ensure they are not on the racing line

ii.     Not make contact with any other competitor

iii.     The Competitor will then be removed from the server accordingly to allow the competition to resume

l.       Once there are 12 Competitors remaining, two more laps will be completed to determine the winner and points distribution for the top 10. The points will be distributed as follows:

If the competitor who sets the fastest lap does not finish in the top 10, this point will not be awarded

13.  Grand Final Race: The 24 highest point scorers throughout the 7 Rounds of the Challenge will then qualify for the Grand Final.
