Australian-born Hobson is no stranger to the Andretti squad, having played an integral role in the day-to-day running of the team as their Team Manager, and later Sporting Director. His appointment comes at an exciting time for Andretti Formula E, as the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship prepares to enter the GEN4 era - the fastest and most exciting chapter to-date.

Hobson replaces Roger Griffiths, one of the paddock's most respected figures, who leaves the role to step into a new senior advisory position supporting Andretti Formula E and the broader TWG Motorsports portfolio. He leaves behind quite the legacy, with 13 victories, 46 podiums and a Drivers’ World Championship with Jake Dennis all happening under his leadership.
