Mastering the Formula E Predictor

Can you master the most unpredictable racing series on the planet? The Formula E Predictor puts you in the hot seat to predict each round of the ABB FIA Formula E Championship. With six races still to go there's everything to play for.

How it works

The Formula E Predictor is completely free to play and points are awarded for each correct prediction.

Make your picks for five outcomes in the race, selecting from the 24 Formula E drivers that you think will win the E-Prix, clinch the Julius Baer Pole Position, smash the fastest race lap, be the first to use ATTACK MODE and who will be the last-place finisher.

PREDICT. WATCH. WIN. Play the Formula E Predictor and win big

Those in the top-scoring bracket will be entered into a draw for the top prize consisting of a signed shirt and cap from the race winner. Everyone else in the top-scoring bracket will receive a unique discount code for the Official ABB FIA Formula E Championship merchandise store.

Master forecaster: Fabio Formica

The brain behind the Race at Home Challenge Predictor victory was Italian Formula E fanatic Fabio Formica, who came out on top of some fierce competition to take the overall honours and Predictor glory.

We thought it'd be a great idea to try and glean some tips and find out how Fabio made the most of his expert foresight ahead of the return of the Formula E Predictor for the Berlin season finale - arguably set to be the most unpredictable motorsport event in history!

"My strategy in the earlier races of Race at Home was to place safe bets on the likes of Max Guenther and Stoffel Vandoorne," said Fabio. "I expected them to be strong right away and that proved to be the case - with Max especially as he won the first two rounds.

"Then, when things settled down I saw that Pascal Wehrlein looked super quick and decided to put my faith in him. I knew prior to the competition getting underway that all three of these guys were excellent sim racers, so I had my eye on them ahead of the rest.

"I picked the winner and chose him as the driver that would get the fastest lap as well. Then, I placed Vandoorne as the driver who would get pole and second place in the race. This worked nicely.

"I managed to get a best result of 50 out of 60 in Round 6."

Finale predictions

Fabio is a long-time Formula E fan and a devoted supporter of Jean-Eric Vergne - due to his precision, calm demeanour and ability to do the right thing at just the right time.

He was all set to head to the Rome E-Prix prior to lockdown but says he'll return as soon as we're able to welcome fans trackside once again.

Fabio expects the DS Techeetahs will be the car to beat, and whilst he hopes Vergne can stage a dramatic recovery to clinch the title, he feels Antonio Felix da Costa is the safe pick.

"DS Techeetah manage to save the battery in a formidable way," said Fabio. "Even if da Costa and Vergne start down the order, they'll make storming comebacks up the field towards the sharp end, I'm sure.

"I expect great battles on-track in Berlin. Audi has always gone well there. Who knows - Lucas di Grassi may be able to win his second Drivers' title.

"For me, da Costa, Max Guenther, Mitch Evans, di Grassi and Vergne are the guys playing the World Cup in the final six races.

"I hope Vergne wins his third championship, but I think da Costa will come out on top as champion."
