Antonio Felix da Costa has been unstoppable in his first season with DS Techeetah, clinching the 2019/20 ABB FIA Formula E Championship with two rounds to spare. His career in the series stretches back to the inaugural 2014/15 season, and we wanted to show off some of his defining moments on the way to championship glory.

The number 13 maybe be unlucky for some, but not for da Costa, who has carried it throughout his career and on his title-winning DS E-TENSE FE20.

From his debut at Putrajaya in the 2014/15 season right up to taking his first championship win, we chart 13 moments from the Portuguese driver's rise in the ABB FIA Formula E Championship.

1/10 It only took another two rounds and da Costa was on the top step of the podium, taking his first Formula E victory at Buenos Aires. He only led one lap, but it was the most important one - the final lap.
2/10 On to Round 2, the leafy streets of Santiago and the Parque O'Higgins circuit were the location for da Costa's podium roll. The Portuguese driver may have been denied the win on the final lap, but the momentum was building as he followed it up with another second place finish in Mexico City.
3/10 After the season was put on hold due to the coronavirus pandemic, da Costa continued his winning ways when Formula E returned to action last week. Round 6 was a sublime drive from da Costa, taking the maximum 30 points in opening race in Berlin and solidifying his hold on the title.
4/10 A new era in Formula E and a new team for da Costa. The Portuguese driver secured a win for BMW in their first race as. a factory team and claim the first win in a Gen2 car.
5/10 All the doubters who questioned da Costa's move away from BMW were silenced in Marrakesh. The Portuguese driver dominated in the Red City to take the lead in the standings.
6/10 After winning there the previous season, Buenos Aires marked one of four retirements for da Costa in a tough Season 2. He would end the year down in 13th position - the number that features on his car today.
7/10 All the way back in Season 1, Antonio Felix da Costa made his debut in the inaugural Formula E season joining Amlin Aguri from the second round in Putrajaya. Scoring points in his first race with eighth.
8/10 Coming into the final round da Costa was one of seven drivers in line to take the Formula E title. Da Costa finished third in the penultimate round, ending the season with a career best of sixth.
9/10 In Season 3, da Costa's best finish came in the opening round with fifth in Hong Kong. It was a long and difficult season, with no further points on the board and his lowest finish in Formula E down in 20th.
10/10 Season 4 in Zurich, da Costa finished third in the Swiss city but it was one of only four points finishes that season as he ended 15th in the driver standings.
