Standings leader Vandoorne tops Free Practice 1 in Seoul

Stoffel Vandoorne (Mercedes-EQ) headed the way in Free Practice 1 ahead of the Hana Bank Seoul E-Prix Round 15, pipping Edoardo Mortara (ROKiT Venturi Racing) to top spot by 0.013 seconds.

The pair were a tenth clear of Nick Cassidy (Envision Racing) as the drivers got themselves accustomed to the all-new Seoul circuit, weaving into and around the Olympic Stadium in Jamsil. Lucas di Grassi enters his centenary race weekend with a strong fourth to start for Venturi while Jean-Eric Vergne (DS TECHEETAH) and outgoing champion Nyck de Vries (Mercedes-EQ) round out the top six. The top 20, meanwhile, were covered by just one second.

FANBOOST

The votes for FANBOOST ahead of Round 15 so far sees an advantage for standings leader Stoffel Vandoorne (Mercedes-EQ) with third-placed Edoardo Mortara (ROKiT Venturi Racing) also in line for a boost. Mitch Evans is in with a shout of securing FANBOOST, too, in third while Season 6 champion Antonio Felix da Costa (DS TECHEETAH) and Round 14 winner Lucas di Grassi (ROKiT Venturi Racing) are all set for a 30kW bonus.
