Day 1 of testing ahead of the 2020/21 ABB FIA Formula E World Championship saw tricky morning conditions after heavy overnight rain and thunderstorms at Circuit Ricardo Tormo. Stoffel Vandoorne showed us just how it's done with an early lap in his Mercedes-Benz EQ. Ride onboard, and try to work out just how the Belgian picked his way around the sodden circuit.
Conditions eventually improved as the morning's running progressed, but early on, this murk and mire was what the drivers had to find their way through, throwing intricately planned testing schedules out of the window.
The T-Cam view made it look tough enough, but Driver's Eye is on another level, with the Belgian sawing away at the wheel of his Silver Arrow 02 to keep things on the straight and narrow.
