Stoffel Vandoorne claimed his and Mercedes-Benz EQ’s first victory in Formula E. Vandoorne won the race from lights-to-flag, The Belgian was joined by teammate Nick de Vries in second, claiming a podium in the final race of his rookie season.
The 1-2 finish from the pair also gave Mercedes the perfect end to their debut season in the all-electric series, as the German manufacturer vaulted up to third in the Teams' standings.
With Antonio Felix da Costa and DS Techeetah rewarded for their sheer dominance, Round 11 saw the end of the most intense finale in motorsport history and the thrilling conclusion to the 2019/20 season.
