The provisional Season 12 calendar is here, and while a thrilling championship challenge is on, let’s take a brief look forward and see what’s set to come in 2025 and 2026.
Record-breaking calendar
18 races, it’s our biggest calendar yet as Formula E charts a course around the globe with thrilling new race locations and the returning favourite bringing all-electric racing.
Sustainability is at the heart of everything we do, and the calendar's planning and delivery have seen race locations grouped by continent to reduce freight transport and CO2 emissions and maximise efficiencies across regions.
Season starts in São Paulo
It’s a stage usually used to toe-tapping of a different kind, and the drivers will again be diving on the brakes as the Anhembi Sambadrome plays host to the season opener, as the Season 12 calendar kicks off in São Paulo.

Then it’s 2026, a New Year, and the second round of the season as Formula E is back in Mexico. The year starts with another trip to the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez in January.
Welcome to Miami
Formula E returned to Miami this season, and we’re back for more all-electric racing action, but this time with a new venue, visiting the Hard Rock Stadium for a trip around the Miami International Autodrome. It played host to the EVO Sessions this year and will feature the whole field of Formula E drivers for Season 12.
Saudi Arabia and the first double-header
Then it’s on to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, for the first double-header of the season. Formula E goes back under the lights for another set under the stars, with the floodlights on and racing electrifying the streets.

Triple treat in Europe
The first of the newcomers, as we’re back in Spain, with a trip to Madrid in March and the Circuito de Madrid-Jarama, the same track that hosted the pre-season tests this year and the first time that Formula E has raced in the Spanish capital.
Formula E lands in Europe, as the old Tempelhof airport in Berlin hosts a pair of races. It’s become a staple on the calendar and maintains its accolade of being the only city present since the first season.
It’s off to the hallowed streets of Monaco. We’ve been on the full iconic circuit since Season 7 and have brought an abundance of overtakes since then. This season saw a duo of races, with the first double-header in Monte Carlo. It was great, so we’re doing it again in Season 12.

Pair of TBCs before the Asian leg
Where will we be racing? It wouldn’t be a Formula E calendar launch with a bit of mystery… The dates are in May and June, but we’ve got a pair of racing locations to confirm. Make sure you sync your calendar, as it will automatically update when the locations are announced, and keep across FIAFormulaE.com for the latest news.
After a successful return to China in Season 10, Shanghai is set to host another pair of races before we head to Tokyo for another double-header with a new slot for the Japanese capital in July
London brings the season to a close
Then, the curtain closes in London, as the champion will again be crowned in the UK capital during a double-header weekend at the Excel Arena, bringing Season 12 to an end in August.
