Formula E Music, presented by Visa, offers the chance for these selected emerging artists to take advantage of the extensive global platform both brands have to offer, catapulting their music to the masses.
Sam Cannon, Head of Music at Formula E, said: “Our aim has always been to mix motorsport with music, appealing to a new generation of fans. Formula E is the entertainment of the future, and to include these fantastic solo artists and bands is an absolute pleasure. We hope we can give them that little injection they need to get their music out there on a worldwide scale.”
Gary Twelvetree, Executive Director, Brand & Central Marketing at Visa Europe, said: “We are delighted to be part of Formula E’s music strategy for the Visa London ePrix. Combining this with the eSports platform we will be presenting at the races, as well as giving fans unique content on the day through our Visa Fan Radios, we really feel Visa will help deliver an incredible 360° entertainment experience for all fans attending on July 2 & 3.”

More on artists:
Chimes
This London based duo will be bringing their melodic dance to Formula E’s new music event. Their burst of positive energy is brought to us through a collaboration of British producer Draper and multi-genre songwriter and vocalist Paul Aiden.
Ellie Rose
Ellie Rose shows us a refreshing innocence with her simple singer/songwriter vibe that has been known to ‘stick in the mind and cause smiles’. Ellie’s stripped back set will take the audience on a wondrous journey by one of the best up-and-coming female vocalists right now.
Draper
Draper is best known for his remixes of many mainstream artists, and his unique electronic style. After his musical breakthrough in 2012, his mixes have been featured on Ellie Goulding’s album ‘Halycon’, and he has DJ’d for Rita Ora and then continued on to Rita’s arena tour. After his first ever headline show in February, Draper continues his musical expedition as one of Formula E’s chosen few.
Lester Clayton
Self-proclaimed ‘Street Folk’ artists, Lester Clayton are reminiscent vocally of an acoustic male Lily Allen. The four-piece amalgamate are a rare combination of reggae, hip-hop, soul and folk. Lester Clayton uses a witty combination of political and social commentary and love poetry to represent the everyday man.
Luke Carey
Young Luke clearly shows his influences - Ed Sheeran, Paolo Nutini and Damien Rice - within his work. Luke is obsessed with gigging, which means his music has developed organically using beatboxing, loop pedals, and rapping. Luke shows an honest love for what he does, and that becomes obvious when you see his natural ability to utterly engage an audience.
LOOP
Described as “…one of the next great popstars” by Wonderland, LOOP has already made quite the impression with her debut singles, ‘Love Bites’ and ‘Looking At You’. Working with Portuguese production duo, Insical, LOOP has created an incredibly exciting and unique sound, which has garnered amazing feedback from blogs all around the world, who are eagerly awaiting to see what she puts out next.
