Jake Hughes, who was on-track to start from fourth on the grid for Round 6 in Misano, will now be required to start from the back after being found in breach of the Formula E technical regulations.

In the decision document it was stated that "the fire extinguisher was not armed during the qualifying session", an offence that is a disqualifiable. He has been given permission to start the race and described it as "disappointing but rogue" when asked about it after qualifying.

QUALIFYING REPORT: Evans and Jaguar achieve maiden Misano pole

It was Hughes' first Duels appearance of Season 10, and saw him go up against ABT CUPRA's Nico Mueller and eventual Julius Baer Pole Position Mitch Evans (Jaguar TCS Racing) in both the Quarter and Semi Finals, respectively. The 29-year-old had set the fastest time of the weekend so when he managed to be the first to break the 1m16s barrier during his Quarter Final shootout.

This promotes all drivers from fifth onwards up a position, with Mueller now inheriting the fourth place grid slot.
