The ERT Formula E team are arriving into Season 10 with a new look and new name. Previously NIO 333, the Anglo-Chinese outfit have kept their driver line-up the same with Dan Ticktum and Sergio Sette Camara behind the wheel again.

Last year, they finished ninth in the Teams’ Championship standings. However, previewing the second year of GEN3 the team remain realistic with the task they have ahead.

“We’re going into this season with realistic expectations,” Russell O'Hagan, Deputy Team Principal of the ERT Formula E team said before Mexico City. “We’re aware of our hand, and we expect a slightly more difficult season than last year. We’re aiming to defend ninth in the championship, but we know it’ll be a real challenge.

“We’ll work hard to take any opportunities as they arise, and we’ll go into each race with a positive mindset, always considering some alternative strategies to score big where we can and grind out the lower top ten results when we can’t.

“It should make for an exciting season where our fans can look forward to us being creative with our approach and we appreciate their ongoing support through our Formula E journey and our longer term ambition to reach the front.”

ERT managed a best of fifth last season, thanks to Sette Camara in Hyderabad. Throughout the first year of GEN3, they had several promising top ten results and finished the year with 42 points – the most they’ve accumulated in a single season over five years.

“There’s also much to look forward to this season, with the ongoing growth of the series under the new CEO Jeff Dodds, an exciting race in Tokyo, and for us of course a highly awaited return to race on home soil in China,” O'Hagan continued.

“Add to that a busy year behind the scenes with the ongoing development of our GEN EVO car ready for Season 11. We really enjoy the challenge of a new homologation cycle and are confident in the steps we have taken. The sim results I have seen look very encouraging and I trust in our team to deliver a strong package out of the blocks like we did for Season 9.”
