Your chance to see all 22 Gen2 cars on track for the first time ahead of the Season 5 opener

Dates revealed and doors open to the public for Valencia pre-season testing

Despite crowning Jean-Eric Vergne as our new ABB FIA Formula E champion just over a month ago, we're already counting down the days, hours and minutes until Season 5 kicks off in Saudi Arabia on December 15.

But there's good news ahead as on October 16, 2018 we're opening the doors to pre-season testing, giving you the chance to see all 22 cars and drivers take to the track ahead of the opening round of Season 5.

So what exactly is pre-season testing?
Pre-season testing is the first time all 11 Formula E teams and 22 cars and drivers will take to the track together, ahead of the first round of Season 5 of the ABB FIA Formula E Championship. The track time is used by teams and drivers to make any final amendments to the cars ahead of the first race in Ad Diryiah, Saudi Arabia on December 15, 2018.

Where and when?
Pre-season testing takes place at the Ricardo Tormo circuit in Valencia, Spain between the October 16 and 19. Both Tuesday 16 and Friday 19 will be open to the general public.

There is no charge to attend but only registered attendees will be granted access to the circuit. Complete and submit the form below to register for the event. Fans will be able to access seating with a view of the track.

Each day of testing will be split into two sessions, with cars running between 9-12 in the morning session and 2-5 in the afternoon. Thursday 18 will serve as a rest day - there will be no action on track. All test days are open to media. To apply for media accreditation, please email your interest to: mediaaccreditation@fiaformulae.com.
