The FIA Formula E Championship, the world’s first fully-electric racing series, took home the Cutting Edge Sport Award at the BT Sport Industry Awards in London last night.
Formula E was shortlisted in two categories - Brand of the Year and the Cutting Edge Sport Award.
The award follows on from Formula E’s success at the TV Connect Industry Awards, where the series received the prize for Best Mobile Video Experience.

The way we consume not only sports, but entertainment as a whole, is constantly evolving. The millennial age is always on the move and increasingly mobile.
