Four years ago, I wouldn't have believed you if you told me that I would have the opportunity to spend the day working at Formula E's office in London. Thanks to the FIA Girls On Track Formula E team, that dream became a reality. From watching the electric racing series from the sidelines to getting involved in this incredible opportunity, I have been encouraged to continue to pursue my dream of becoming a motorsport journalist and witness first-hand that anything is possible.
The day was nothing short of a dream come true. It was so much more than just a day of work experience; it was the opportunity that arose from it. Immy and Sophie, two remarkable individuals whom I had the privilege of meeting, shared their experiences and insights, emphasising the importance of starting small.

During my visit, I also had the privilege of meeting Charlie Harbord, who shared valuable insights into writing press releases and making motorsport stories more accessible to a broader audience. It was eye-opening to discover numerous job opportunities in the industry that I hadn't considered before.
One of the most fascinating aspects of the day was joining meetings with internal teams. Also, it was interesting to see many people working together to help create an image for the series. It gave me a glimpse into the behind-the-scenes operations of the industry, and I found it inspiring to witness all of the hard work.
The support and guidance from Formula E in pursuing my dream of becoming a motorsport journalist has been instrumental. For someone like me from Jakarta, Indonesia, where motorsport is often considered a man's world, the journey to working in the industry seemed like an uphill battle.
Motorsport is a competitive industry, and I know that achieving my dream will be tough, but I'm determined to work as hard as possible to achieve my dream of reporting on a motorsport series.
Over the years, I have been involved in writing and even hosting a podcast on motorsport platforms. These experiences kick-started my journey, allowing me to attend media pens, interview drivers, and produce high-quality magazine features. It's something that I'm grateful to have, but I'm not stopping there; I'm eager to achieve more.
However, my involvement with the FIA Girls On Track Formula E has changed everything. I was fortunate to be one of the 100 local girls who participated in an event that offered exclusive insights into motorsport careers. From garage tours to in-depth discussions about potential career paths, this event introduced me to inspirational women who have set the bar in motorsport. Their stories motivate me to follow in their footsteps and make my mark in this industry.
As I continue my studies in journalism, I'm determined to make the best use of my degree to work in motorsport, something I consider a lifelong passion. I'm committed to relentlessly pursuing opportunities that allow me to get involved.
I hope that more girls who share the same dream will have the opportunity to get involved with FIA Girls On Track Formula E, as it has been a life-changing experience for me. I'm immensely grateful for the people I've met on this journey and the support I've received. Together, we can continue to break barriers and make the world of motorsport more inclusive for everyone.
