Formula E’s two principle championship rivals – Sebastien Buemi and Lucas di Grassi – have revealed who they think the best driver in the series is.
In an interview with Formula E Founder and CEO Alejandro Agag, the electric racing stars asked for their opinion about who is the best – aside from themselves…
“It’s hard to say,” Buemi replied. “I mean I’ve been impressed by Felix Rosenqvist, who is not only quick on the track but also in the simulators in Las Vegas. I think he has impressed me a lot this season and was very, very quick straightaway as a rookie. After him, it depends on what the team does, how the car handles, there are too many different aspects.”
Di Grassi added: “That’s a complex question, because maybe there is a fast driver, maybe there is a more consistent one, it’s quite hard to choose one, what is important to say is this season, you cannot name any of the 20 drivers which hasn’t been successful in other series. All 20 drivers are at the top of their game. Some of them are younger and they will improve. Some of them are in the end of their career but still very good.”
