Nato joins Jaguar TCS Racing as test and reserve driver

Formula E race winner Norman Nato has joined Jaguar TCS Racing as test and reserve driver alongside Tom Dillman for Season 8; which is set to get underway in Diriyah, Saudi Arabia with a night race double-header on 28 & 29 January.

The Frenchman, who impressed in his rookie campaign last season at ROKiT Venturi Racing, could count himself unfortunate to miss out on a race seat for Season 8, with Jaguar quick to ensure it is the beneficiary.

SEASON 8: All the teams and drivers set to compete in 2021/22

Nato capped his season with a collected race win in the Berlin finale, hitting the front and not looking back from there. His efforts helped deliver Venturi its best points tally in Formula E to-date.

Jaguar TCS Racing heads into Season 8 after its most successful campaign to-date, with the efforts of Mitch Evans and Sam Bird firing the outfit to second in the Teams' World Championship in 2020/21.

A new title partner in Tata Consultancy Services, and some structural changes suggest the team has doubled down on its strong footing for 2021/22 ahead of the season opener in Diriyah - the site of Bird's maiden win for Jaguar, and a strong showing in Season 7.
