Formula E returns to the streets of São Paulo to kick off Season 11 on 7 December, 2024. At the Sambadrome, fans will see the faster, stronger and more sustainable GEN3 Evo, marking the first time that Brazil has hosted the Formula E season-opener.

Leveraging a roster of innovative technical upgrades, the GEN3 Evo unveiled at H.S.H Prince Albert II’s Private Car Collection will debut in Season 11 of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship.
Developed by specialists from Formula E and the FIA, the latest GEN3 Evo edition marks a significant leap in electric racing technology, with acceleration 0-60mph 30% faster than a current F1 car, and 36% faster than the GEN3 car.
São Paulo - a venue that is home to the world-famous carnival celebrations and incredible samba schools. Formula E's grid will be bringing the party to the Anhembi Sambadrome, with action-packed racing from start-to-finish.
With three long straights connected by tricky chicanes, sweeping corners and tight turns, the circuit in São Paulo is a challenging lap for the pack. Starting on the main straight that's usually reserved for carnival floats and revelry, there will be a different type of dancing as the drivers put their toe tapping to use on the brake pedals into the series of sharp turns, that feed to a looping hairpin that fires the field down the straight
Alongside all the action on track, you can expect even more excitement in the Fan Village - Formula E's immersive fan festival at the heart of every E-Prix. It's a full-day's worth of entertainment, exploration and innovation just waiting for you.
There's plenty of excitement away from the racing action with entertainment throughout the day. Test your Formula E skills on the simulator, be wowed by thrilling performances and find your groove with live music, alongside much more to keep your race experience fully charged.
For the ultimate grandstand experience, secure your spot in Sector A and B – the very epicenter of the action, perched above the starting grid. You'll be right there, as the lights go out. Get set for a view of the action that unfolds on the main straight.
For those who want to see the drivers full speed down the main straight, sector C, D, G, and H are where you want to be. These spots are perfect for revelling in the race and cheering on your favourite drivers as they fight for position.
Want to witness the nail-biting Turn 1 up close and catch a glimpse as the drivers jostle for position down the main straight? Then sector E and F will provide all the thrills.
