Lynn returns to Formula E with British squad Panasonic Jaguar Racing after completing a season with the Virgin Racing outfit. The British driver has shaped a career in motorsport racing both single seaters and sports cars.
Before entering Formula E ahead of the 2017/18 season, Lynn won the challenging Sebring 12 Hours in that same year, representing Wayne Taylor Racing. After a challenging season with virgin, which saw him finish 16th overall, Lynn was replaced by Dutchman Robin Frijins.
Halfway through the 2018/19 season, ahead of the Rome race, Jaguar announced Lynn would take the place of Nelson Piquet Jr, racing in car 20 for the remainder of the season. Alongside Formula E, Lynn is also a seasoned competitor in the World Endurance Championship, racing in some of the most well-known endurance races, such as Le Mans and the Nurburgring 24 Hours. A former GP3 champion, Alex raced in the GP2 series with French team DAMS and won three races. He was also Development Driver for Williams Martini Racing in Formula One.
