Envision Racing's Nick Cassidy fired to the top of the Free Practice 3 timesheets ahead of the SABIC London E-Prix Round 14 with a 1m12.933s the weekend's fastest time so far, pipping DS TECHEETAH's Antonio Felix da Costa and Envision teammate Robin Frijns.
Cassidy cut through the field to fourth before a penalty for Nyck de Vries for the Dutchman's overexuberant defence towards the end of the race elevated the Envision driver to a spot on the podium. He'll be encouraged to see his pace carry over to Sunday, as will the team with Frijns all but matching him up just 0.093 seconds back in third, the pair of them split by da Costa.
HIGHLIGHTS: The SABIC London E-Prix Round 13
Sergio Sette Camara (DRAGON / PENSKE AUTOSPORT) was another driver on the pace yesterday. The Brazilian was running in the top four until the final couple of laps when his usable energy became marginal. He eventually wound up 17th but may well get another go at points today.

Round 13 winner Jake Dennis (Avalanche Andretti) finished the session fifth, with Pascal Wehrlein rounding out the top six in the Porsche.

Drivers' World Championship leader Stoffel Vandoorne (Mercedes-EQ) was just a spot behind in seventh and will once again, almost inevitably, be right in the mix. If his closest rivals hoped he'd have an off day, it doesn't look forthcoming.
Track conditions looked tricky out there, with both Venturis spinning - Mortara finding the Tecpro barriers at the chicane. The Swiss got away without major damage but it was illustrative of the challenge offered up at the ExCeL on a day that could also be impacted by rain, with the forecast changeable.
FANBOOST
The votes for FANBOOST ahead of Round 14 so far sees an advantage for second-placed Lucas di Grassi (ROKiT Venturi Racing), with teammate Edo Mortara in tow. Standings leader - Mercedes-EQ's Stoffel Vandoorne - is also in line for a boost, as is Season 6 champion Antonio Felix da Costa (DS TECHEETAH) and second-placed Mitch Evans on home soil for Jaguar TCS Racing.
