Following a special screening of the feature length ABB FIA Formula E Championship documentary And We Go Green at the Cannes Film Festival in May, the film will make its World Premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival at 15:00 (local time) on September 8, 2019.
Using intimate character-driven storylines and unseen race footage from Jean-Eric Vergne’s championship-winning season, the documentary follows the lives of the drivers as they embark on the series' fourth season, challenging for the title on the streets of 12 of the world's most progressive cities, from Hong Kong to New York.
The World Premiere will be the first opportunity for trade press and film distributors to see the documentary, with star drivers Sam Bird (Envision Virgin Racing), Nelson Piquet Jr. (former Panasonic Jaguar Racing) and Alejandro Agag (Executive Producer and Founder & CEO of Formula E), Fisher Stevens (Co-director) and Malcolm Venville (Co-director) also in attendance.
