We’re on a mission to find people who are making a positive environmental, social or economic impact in their local community or beyond. If this could be you, or someone you know – nominate yourself or them by filling in the entry form below.
Be inspired and meet local sustainability heroes who have made a difference in the iconic city locations from the Formula E calendar

Is there a fee for entering the Together Green Award?
No, participation in the competition is free of charge.
How to enter?
Simply fill in the questions on the entry form and your details in the ‘contact details’ section of the webpage. This consists of several fields, but the key criteria on which entries are judged are 1) the actions you or your nominated individual are taking and 2) the impact it has had or is projected to have. You can also share links to supporting webpages or imagery to accompany your submission.
You must complete and submit the entry form by 20 July 2022.
Can we submit multiple entries?
Yes, you may submit one nomination for yourself and one nomination for someone else. A maximum of two nominations per email address can be accepted.
Can I nominate an organisation instead of an individual?
Yes, you can nominate either an individual or an organisation. However please provide details for a representative from the organisation who would feature as the face of the nomination and would be intitled to the prize experience if shortlisted.
When is the closing date for entries?
The closing date is 23:55 (GMT) on 20 July 2022.
How are the entries judged before the final round?
There are two rounds of judging. The entries will be scored against a set criteria as outlined in the Terms & Conditions. The top 20 entries will be shortlisted, and a panel of industry experts from DHL, Formula E and ABB will vote collectively to decide on the top 3 submissions. The top 3 shortlisted entrants will then be invited to join DHL & Formula E for the Season 8 finale in Seoul. In the event that entries in 20 place are scored equally, an independent judge will review the entries against the criteria to determine who progresses.
What are the judges looking for in the submission?
Please review the specific criteria as outlined in the Terms & Conditions. In general, the core principle of the awards is to reward the individual who in the judges view, has had the greatest significance and or potential in terms of positive impact on sustainability. This can be understood from either a environmental, social or economic perspective. There isn’t necessarily a stronger weighting to those individuals or organizations who have already received significant support be that either financially or human resource. Judges will also consider impact in relation to the needs of the specific community that individual is from and will consider the holistic implications for sustainability. You are encouraged to provide links to additional information, imagery, videos etc. to support your submission.
Can a collaboration be submitted into the Together Green Awards?
Yes, although a single user must submit the entry. Please list all involved stakeholders.
What happens if my submission is shortlisted as a finalist?
20 finalists will be selected in the first round of judging. A judging panel will then meet (either virtually or in real life) to decide upon the top three finalists. If your submission is selected as a finalist then judges may request additional information or clarifications from you. The three finalists will be contacted by 24 July 2022 and arrangements made to facilitate their travel to and prize experience at the Season 8 Finale.
When is the overall winner announced?
The winner will be announced at the Season 8 Finale Gala Dinner on 14 August 2022.
Can I decide how to spend the Together Green grant if I win?
Yes, but the grant must contribute towards your chosen project or initative. Each finalist will be ask to prepare a short document detailing how they intend to spend the €10,000 grant. The winner will be asked to share evidence that the spend is in line with the overview document.
