But tickets sales for this E-Prix are a little different from the usual. Following the devastating earthquake that shook the city on September 19 2017, Formula E will be donating all box office profits to the Legacy Programme, which contributes towards continued reconstruction in Mexico City.
With that in mind, tickets can be purchased with a donation of 50 pesos by clicking here. “We hope this will motivate even more fans to come to the Mexico City E-Prix, to not only support drivers on the track, but the continuation of the 'Fuerza México' movement off the track,” said Formula E's Founder and CEO Alejandro Agag.
"We do what we like most, which is to compete. In Mexico we will do it, but with a purpose that goes beyond the races," said reigning Formula E champion and Audi Sport ABT Schaeffler driver Lucas di Grassi. "Personally, I have tried to be informed of everything that has happened, and I am very sorry for what the Mexicans are experiencing...that is why I invite you to the race to live a beautiful event, which this year, has an even greater cause," added di Grassi.
In return for your donation, you'll receive a ticket to the 2018 ABB FIA Formula E Mexico City E-Prix taking place at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez.
You can make your donation through Ticketmaster (booking fees apply) or at the ticket office of the Palacio de los Deportes. Each ticket will grant access to your choice of the famous Foro Sol or Gradas 1 and 2 as well as complimentary access to the Allianz E-Village - Formula E's festival of technology, entertainment and innovation with activities for fans of all ages.
